Mersea is a temporary solution to provide food to the island residents during the master plan redevelopment of Treasure Island. Prior to Mersea, there was only one restaurant serving the island. Mersea is comprised of 11 shipping containers, a mini golf course, and bocce ball courts. It is set against the amazing backdrop of the San Francisco skyline. I had the honor of participating in this project for 3 years at the start of my career from Designer to Project Manager, and even had a stint in managing the front of house. I highly recommend venturing out there for the tacos and chowder, and if not for the food, the magical view alone will make the trip worth it.
